Breakfast Sausage Casserole

1 lb. Pork Sausage, ground
2 Tbsp. Butter or Margarine, softened
6 slices Bread, lightly toasted
1 tsp. Salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. Dry Mustard
2 cups Milk
4 oz Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Spread butter on both sides
of bread slices. Combine salt, dry mustard and milk in bowl; mix well. Layer bread
slices, sausage and cheese alternately in greased baking dish until all ingredients are
used. Pour milk mixture over layers. Chill in refrigerator for 8 hours or longer.
Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
